Blue Colour Theory

The meaning of the colour Blue

You are Truth! Yes, you resonate with integrity and honesty!

Think for a moment about BLUE...

You are very connected to both the sky and nature’s waters (the oceans, lakes, rivers, streams, rain...) - All very honest in their missions! Water serves to uncover layers of clutter and “stuff” hiding the truth, the Genuine Being of everything water washes over. The Blue of Water gives voice to otherwise unheard creatures, rocks and fauna!

Meanwhile, blue is enthusiastically embraced as the color of Heaven and of Honest Authority. Dishonest leaders, or anyone with malintent is NOT a Blue person. Why even the honest, dependable ruggedness of denim jeans is in accord with their blue colour. Many a corporation recognizes the message that blue in their logos sends to potential Clients and Associates.

Blue has more complex and contradictory meanings than any other color. And YOU are complex! First, Your Colour is cool (or even cold), wet, and slow in comparison to red’s intensity, warmth and fire, for example. Your blue is about thoughtfulness and commitment to intimate communication with others.

Blue’s complexity is depicted by its variety of shades...

Sky (Light) Blues are about the spiritual and ethereal, infinity, peace, and serenity - all characteristics of the skies.

Waters (Bright) Blues represent the coolness and strength of honesty, cleanliness, and dependability - The oceans and inland waters’ characteristics.

Dark Blues denote the Dignity of true authority and leadership earned by intelligence and trust - The deepest lakes and oceans characteristics for supporting endless varieties of Life!

Blue flowers and vegetables are quite unique. This is because Blue represents another vibration level which most vegetation HAS to have (as in Water), but which is fully expressed in it’s Truth, nurtured by the Blue.

Surprisingly, the Colour Blue became the symbol of Depression in the American culture. Blue is SO true to your right to speak the Truth, and it sings and glows in response to your status. You’ve heard of “Singing the blues”, and of “feeling blue” - good examples of Blue’s complexity in expression!
